Confirmed: Kaitlyn Hunt Was A Basketball Player at SRHS

Kelley Hunt Smith and Steve Hunt haven’t had a great twenty-four hours; someone deleted their #freekate facebook page and it’s 42,000 followers and all their potential donations. Their new #KatesFight facebook page has just 338 members and the possible culprit informs them that the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is investigating their fundraising for fraud. If I was them I would be more worried about fraud charges than their lost facebook page.

But I do have some good news for the Hunts, we can finally put away any suspicions about Kaitlyn Hunt not being a member of the girls basketball team at Sebastian River High School.

Brad the Bastard contacted the Athletic Director at Sebastian River High School and requested a public information request and recieved a roster listing Kaitlyn Hunt as a member of the girls basketball team. Her jersey number was “4” which is ironic because that’s my guess as to the amount of years she will have to now do in prison for violating a no contact order and getting charged with a third felony – sending gaping vagina pics of herself to a minor child.

Why the basketball team information is important.

First, let me honestly admit, I’ve always had some suspicions as to whether there was two warnings or not. I leaned to believing the victim’s parents because they never have had a history of falsehoods, but being informed in February and going to the police the next day made me wonder about when the two warnings took place. I’ve explored this scenario before but it’s worth exploring again now we know it’s the most likely and plausible explanation.

Before Kaitlyn Hunt ever scores a point on the girls basketball team she is kicked off the team. The Hunts claim it was because she was in a lesbian relationship. The other girl wasn’t kicked off the team for being in a lesbian relationship which casts doubt on Kaitlyn being kicked off “officially” for being a lesbian. Was Kaitlyn Hunt given warning #1 already when in the CBS interview the victim’s mother said she told Kaitlyn Hunt the relationship was wrong, or was warning #1 given after being kicked off the team?

Notice the words “the relationship was wrong” in the victim’s parents interview. She didn’t say “criminal” she said wrong in her description of her warnings to Kaitlyn Hunt. Wrong because according to the law and a majority of people in our democracy, many people don’t believe fourteen year olds should be dating eighteen year old adults.

The coach didn’t kick Kaitlyn Hunt off for being a lesbian. The “drama” in which the Hunt’s describe the coach as saying was an eighteen year old adult targeting and kissing in locker rooms (there is a photo of that) a fourteen year old little girl.

Now comes January when the victim runs away from home in the middle of the night. Kaitlyn takes the victim to her home and commits another sexual battery on the child. Where was Kelley Hunt Smith that night and that morning? If her daughter had been kicked off the basketball team for being in a lesbian relationship and with that under-aged girl now in her home, are we really to believe Kelley was oblivious to the other girl’s parents being against the relationship at the time? Warning #2 in January for running away and going to Kaitlyn’s?

My guess is the victim’s parents said the relationship was wrong because they were against the age differences and it was in February they found out the relationship had become sexual. That’s when they went to the police because instead of Kaitlyn being “wrong” in wanting a relationship with their daughter, she was “criminal” in sexually abusing their child.

The basketball team information is important because it gives Kaitlyn 2-3 months to recieve the warnings the victim’s parents claim she was given. It wasn’t the parents going to the police the next day after finding out, rather it was the parents going to the police when they found out the relationship became criminal according to the law of the land and after they had warned Kate Hunt to stay away from their daughter at least twice.

We know Kate Hunt don’t take orders very seriously and that’s why she now sits in the Indian River County Jail.

  1. I think the vast majority of parents would go to the police if they woke up and their 14 year old son or daughter was missing, as described by the victims’ parents. Simply gone without a trace. No bags packed = doesn’t look like a runaway = apparent KIDNAPPING like Elizabeth Smart or Gina DeJesus (the 14 year old kidnapped by Ariel Castro.) The victims’ parents must have been relieved to eventually find out that their child is alive and mostly OK except for having been taken by an adult to the adult’s residence for sex, but it is unsurprising that this episode was the last straw and triggered their bringing in the police to put a stop to it.

  2. From the interview with victim’s parents: http://cbs12.com/template/cgi-bin/archived.pl?type=basic&file=/news/top-stories/stories/archive/2013/05/J1iyFL0J.xml

“Their 14-year-old began to act out, and one weekend morning they opened her door and she was gone.

“It’s the worst thing that I’ve ever experienced,” Jim said. “Somebody took her is what we thought. Because her running away is the furthest thing from my mind. You hear kids getting abducted out of your home. That was heart-wrenching.”

Reported missing, and found safe, the Smiths found out she was with Kate, who picked her up even though she had been told to stay away.

“Didn’t stop, then we didn’t have an alternative but to turn to the law, use it as a last resort,” said Jim.”

  3. I’m waiting for Kelley Hunt Smith to get charged. Take your pick – Obstructruction, witness intimidation, witness tampering. I also want the victim’s parents to sue her civilly for parental interference and slander. She has lied on them and demonized them KNOWING her daughter was in full violation of the no-contract court order. Just from the little bit of the 20,000k text messages that was revealed, you see the inequitable dynamic between an 18 and 14 year old and you understand why we have Age of Consent laws in this country.

  5. There is no such thing as a “14-year old little girl,” and “18-year old adult” is a pretty dubious phrase, too, despite the legal definition. You had to use these loaded phrases because the idea that there was a real crime here (as opposed to a technical one) is nonsense. If you can’t recognize that high school students are all peers, and all you can do is harp on arbitrary numbers and legal definitions, there is something wrong with you.

    • There’s something wrong with you if you advocate adults having sexual contact with minors. Get over yourself no one is above the law.
